The year 2018 marks a 100th anniversary of two crucial events: regaining Polish independence and women’s vote in Poland. The debate will offer insights into the fight for women’s rights from various perspectives and in various aspects. The guests will discuss the notion of “herstory”, womens’ participation in social transformations, and their role in creating the foundations of the Second Polish Republic, Polish People’s Republic, and Third Polish Republic, as well as the price they paid for it. We will also investigate the current situation and the contemporary Umbrella Revolution.

The finale of the Freedom Games 2018 takes place under the slogan “Independent Polish Woman”. On the stage we host outstanding women representing various industries and professions who will deliver strong, socially important, short speeches inspired by November 11. Independence has also a feminine face!
